Payment of Application Fee (S$20)

A non-refundable application fee of S$20 (inclusive of 7% Goods & Services Tax) must accompany your application.

 

If you are an international applicant seeking admission to NUS, you should have completed or are completing high school, that is, at least twelve years of general education by July of the year of application. You may view the list of acceptable high school qualifications and applicant group types below.

Please ensure that you select the correct qualification and applicant group type before submitting an online application.

 

Applicant Group type to choose:

  • If you have completed high school final examination, please select ‘I have completed the high school final examination’ in section 3 ‘High School Education’ of the application form.
  • If you are sitting for the high school final examination and results will be available after application closing date, please select ‘I will be completing the high school final examination after application closing date’ in section 3 ‘High School Education’ of the application form.

Application closing dates apply according to your high school qualification. Unless otherwise specified, your complete application with all supporting documents must reach the Office of Admissions by the application closing date.

Eligible students will be considered for the following scholarships by their faculties or schools through their application for admission to NUS. No separate scholarship application is required.

 

ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship (AUS)

Scholarship Awarded by: National University of Singapore

Scholarship Amount: Tuition fees + S$5,800 annual living allowance

Scholarship Duration: complete duration of your degree program if you can maintain good grades

Scholarship Eligibility: Foreign Student at Undergraduate level from ASEAN member state countries.

Scholarship Application: This scholarship is effective only after admission into NUS.

Scholarship Coverage: This scholarship affects your tuition fees and living allowance. You are still responsible for all your other study abroad costs.

 

Science & Technology (S&T) Undergraduate Scholarship

The Science & Technology Undergraduate Scholarship is a freshmen scholarship offered to support outstanding students from Asian countries (excluding Singapore).

Scholarship Awarded by: National University of Singapore

Scholarship Amount: Tuition fees + S$6,800 annual living allowance + S$200 one time settling allowance

Scholarship Duration: complete duration of your degree program if you can maintain good grades

Scholarship Eligibility: Foreign Student at Undergraduate level from Asian countries.

Scholarship Application: This scholarship is effective only after admission into NUS.

Scholarship Coverage: This scholarship affects your tuition, accommodation fees, settling in expenses, living expenses and one-way air passage from home country to Singapore at the beginning of the course of study, and return air passage from Singapore to home country at the end of the course. You are still responsible for all your other study abroad costs though.

Please note that Blocks 7 and 8 (Type A rooms) in PGPR will be closed for renovation works from January to July 2019 (estimated). Inevitably, noise and dust will be generated during the renovation works. Precautions will be taken to minimize inconvenience to residents. Students who are sensitive to noise and dust may want to take this into consideration when indicating the hostel preferences.

This is the rule for students studying abroad…

Yes, you can work but about 90% of countries don’t give student work permits… However, students can work informally and part-time… But all governments and university do not expect students to depend on their possible employment to pay for their tuition and accommodation…

In fact, it not ever possible for students to study full-time each semester and work as well and yet be able to earn enough for their tuition fees and accommodation… Not possible…

They might be able to depend on their possible work for living expense but never for tuition and accommodation…

They can’t study and still earn enough for those kinds of stuff (unless they have their own businesses).
