General Cost, Budget & Living Expenses

Studying abroad is Cyprus is way cheaper than studying in USA, UK, France, Germany, etc. However, it is still studying abroad and it more expensive than studying in your home country. When deciding to study abroad, there are many costs students must consider as they make their budgets. These mainly include:

  • Tuition fees

3. Scholarship...

3. Scholarship…

No matter where you wish to travel to, studying abroad is not cheap. In fact, even studying in your own country is not cheap. But if you can afford, it is always advisable to study abroad. Even if you are from a 1st world (advanced country), doing a year or a semester abroad is still very advantageous.

The University of Nicosia offers partial scholarships based on previous academic qualifications and/or financial needs.

Students have to prepare a letter requesting a scholarship, along with all supporting documents, and send it for evaluation, along with their application for admission, so their request can be considered. In the letter, they have to state the reason/s why they are applying for a scholarship.

This is the rule for students studying abroad…

Yes, you can work but about 90% of countries don’t give student work permits… However, students can work informally and part-time… But all governments and university do not expect students to depend on their possible employment to pay for their tuition and accommodation…

In fact, it not ever possible for students to study full-time each semester and work as well and yet be able to earn enough for their tuition fees and accommodation… Not possible…

They might be able to depend on their possible work for living expense but never for tuition and accommodation…

They can’t study and still earn enough for those kinds of stuff (unless they have their own businesses).
